Good morning Guinness World Records' participants.

On Friday, December 11, 2020, we attempted to set a new Guinness World Records for 'the most users to take an online computer programming lesson within 12 hours'. Unfortunately, we did not achieve this goal. We had 1633 users and needed 1922 to set the record. Although sharing the title with you would have been nice, we did accomplish our objectives to unite communities around the world for a common purpose and to introduce computer science education to more people.

We started this journey 6 months ago and couldn't be more proud of our accomplishments.

Thank you to my Michigan Accelerate Computer Science Collaborative members, our sponsors, and, especially, all of you, that made it all worth it. Continue coding and we'll see you next year!

Lastly, we would love to get your feedback so we can improve our process and optimize our performance.
